About WheelCopilot
WheelCopilot started as one trader's spreadsheet for tracking puts and covered calls across a Roth, an HSA and a taxable account, and became the app we wanted to use instead.
What we believe a tracker should do
- Read the broker's own export rather than ask you to type, and reconcile to the cent.
- Show the real cost basis after premiums, because that is the number every wheel decision rests on.
- Say when it doesn't know: no price made up, no stale quote shown as fresh, a label on every AI-written line.
- Never hold a brokerage login, never place a trade, and let you delete everything with one button.
The AI, honestly
Trade Suggestions, trade grades, the stock screener, ticker research and the news digest are generated by Google's Gemini models on our servers, with rules we wrote around them. They are useful prompts and they are sometimes wrong: a misread statement, a stale price, an invented source. We label them, cite sources where we can, and ask you to verify against your broker. None of it is investment advice.
Status
WheelCopilot is in beta. Fidelity CSV exports are tested end to end; other brokers are read but marked beta. Every page has a Report a problem link and a person reads each report.
