Questions

What is WheelCopilot?

A web app that tracks the options Wheel strategy from your brokerage statements: short puts, covered calls, assignments, premium, realized P/L and true cost basis, with AI-generated trade suggestions, trade grades, a stock screener and a news digest.

Which brokers does it work with?

Fidelity CSV exports (positions and activity) are tested end to end. CSV and PDF statements from Charles Schwab, Vanguard, Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, E*TRADE and Merrill Edge are read by the general CSV reader or by AI and are marked beta: check the result against your broker.

Does WheelCopilot connect to my brokerage account?

No. It never asks for a brokerage login and never places trades. Data enters only from files you upload or figures you type in. You can delete your account and every uploaded file from Account Settings at any time.

How much does it cost?

Casual is $9.95 a month (up to 100 holdings and options, Trade Suggestions, live prices). Pro is $24.95 a month (up to 500 positions, 3x the daily AI usage, Tax Harvesting). Promo code REDDIT30 gives a 30-day trial. Plans are monthly and cancel in one click; payments are non-refundable.

Is WheelCopilot investment advice?

No. Everything in the app, including Trade Suggestions and the screener, is for informational and entertainment purposes only. It is one input alongside your own research and your broker's data, not the only source you should use. Much of the research is produced by AI, which makes mistakes, so verify anything you act on.

What files do I upload?

Two: a positions file (what you hold today, including open options) and an activity or history file (your trades, premiums and dividends). In Fidelity: Positions → Download, and Activity & Orders → Download. Upload a fresh positions file whenever you trade so your holdings stay current.

Does it handle assignments and rolls?

Yes. A $0 close is shown as Expired or Assigned (assignment is read from the statement, or inferred from a same-day stock trade at the strike). Rolls appear as a close and a new open; the Wheel Tracker keeps the premium from every leg against the stock.

What about long calls and puts?

Contracts you bought (long calls and puts, including poor man's covered calls) are tracked as holdings priced at their market value, shown in contracts, and kept out of the premium and wheel math.

Where does the AI come from?

Google's Gemini models, run on our servers. Uploaded statements and the portfolio context a request needs are sent to Gemini to parse documents and generate analysis; we do not use your data to train models. See the Privacy Policy.

Is there a free demo?

Yes. The sign-in page has an Explore Demo option that opens the app with sample data and no account.
